Canyon Myst begins with desperation. The Nereid zeppelin drifts for weeks with failing engines, crew at the mercy of endless wind. When land finally appears, relief transforms to wonder—the vessel crashes onto an uncharted island hiding a world carved from stone. Canyon Myst rises from the cliffs: markets threaded with music, waterfalls cascading through carved terraces, a paradise that shouldn't exist.

The village welcomes these castaways with unsettling warmth. Barra, their blustering leader, insists the aeronauts must leave swiftly—yet lavishes them with food, clothing, and shelter. The contradiction gnaws. Why such urgent kindness? Why the pitying gazes that suggest the crew has already crossed some invisible threshold?

At night, restless crewmen slip into the forest. There they encounter the fae—ethereal guardians who still beasts with a gesture. The scene at the falls becomes myth incarnate: fireflies illuminate ancient stone as a tiger freezes mid-prowl, bent to a fae's silent command. Young aeronaut Aden watches, transfixed, as Kira moves through the clearing like she belongs to a different world entirely.

By dawn, hospitality curdles into mystery. Barra's warning echoes with new weight: "The island never gives—there is only exchange." Why would anyone choose to stay? What do the fae protect so fiercely? This is Airovale, where paradise hides teeth, and every welcome carries a price not yet named. The chapter's allure lies in its ambiguity—drawing us deeper with equal parts wonder and suspicion.
