Airovale Episode 5: Canyon Myst

Canyon Myst begins with desperation. The Nereid zeppelin drifts for weeks with failing engines, crew at the mercy of endless wind. When land finally appears, relief transforms to wonder—the vessel crashes onto an uncharted island hiding a world carved from stone. At night, restless crewmen slip into the forest. There they encounter the fae—ethereal guardians who still beasts with a gesture. The scene at the falls becomes myth incarnate: fireflies illuminate ancient stone as a tiger freezes mid-prowl, bent to a fae's silent command. Young aeronaut Aden watches, transfixed, as Kira moves through the clearing like she belongs to a different world entirely.

By dawn, hospitality curdles into mystery. Barra's warning echoes with new weight: "The island never gives—there is only exchange." Why would anyone choose to stay?
