Airovale | About the Book and Micro Films

Airovale is an epic of steam, myth, and choice—where every gift demands its price.
It begins in the thriving city of Airovale, a forge of zeppelins and ambition, where Aden, a hungry orphan, trades survival for the promise of adventure. When the fleet sails for the Crescent Islands, the lure of temple gold collides with Malina’s centuries-old warnings, and a storm of almost divine intent scatters ships and lives alike. Survivors return scarred; others drift into the unknown and stumble upon Canyon Myst, a hidden village where humans and fae live under a pact of balance.
Here, the story shifts from treasure-hunt to meditation on exchange. Coal is offered, but gems tempt. Hospitality soothes, but every kindness carries a price. Aden’s encounter with Kira, daughter of the fae elder, reveals the island’s true curse: time itself. One day here equals a year beyond. Desire is no longer measured in coin but in decades stolen from loved ones.
The novel crescendos in romance and defiance as Aden and Kira step through a mystic portal, abandoning greed, law, and even their own era for a chance at love and a future unwritten.
Airovale is both sweeping spectacle and intimate parable, inviting readers to ask: what is time worth, and what would you trade for it?
Airovale was written and produced by author Jef Gray from Orlando, Florida in 2025. Viewable as a video movie series on Airovale.com or on Amazon in ebook, paperback, and upcoming audiobook formats.

Airovale is an eight part video miniseries based on the novel "Airovale" by Jef Gray. The video collection covers the range of the Airovale saga from the introduction of the village, where zeppelins and hot air balloons dominate trade across an archipelago of islands in the South Sea. Through the legends told of lost treasure, mystic journeys, and mystery of what happened to a zeppelin thought to be lost at sea.
The video series presents four micro films about the village of Airovale where life is precious and merchants thrive in trade across the islands. A legend is told of a great storm at sea, where a zeppelin vanished in the clouds. The vanishing zeppelin is followed in the next four micro films, far off the mapped world to a mystical island with fabled creatures, ancient ruins, and deceptive time shifts.
